Nothing much going on at the Borchardt household. We are just gearing up for summer. In one month, we will be on vacation in San Antonio where will be riding some waves at Schlitterbahn and dining with Shamu at Sea World. We all are so excited. I can't wait until Sydney sees all of the animals at Sea World, she is just going to go crazy. I am getting my backyard decked out with stuff to do since the price of gas is so high, most of the summer will be spent back there. We have the tramp, a small pool, a Nemo sandbox, a playhouse, a waterwheel, and several other little toys to get wet with. The posted pics were taken this weekend in our very own Borchardt retreat. Darian is finishing up 7th grade and Sydney will be moving to the 3 year old classroom soon. I can't believe she is almost 3. Evan is spending his time tormenting Sydney. Dusty and I are trying to get in shape since we will be spending our vacation at a waterpark. Needless to say, Dusty is doing a lot better than me. Posted soon will be me in the swimsuit where you have to have a little cover up for the pooch. I have been running my butt off, but I like hamburgers and chocolate so the "mom" bathing suit it is for me. I had a great time at Mother's Day with my family. I went to BF where we played the Wii, Rock Band, and croquet and ate way too much good home cooking. Darian got braces a few week ago, so we are definately twinkies now. Sydney rode a horse for the first time at the Norman Arts Festival. We couldn't believe that she got on the horse and didn't get off right away. Hopefully my neice, Ashley, will get her cast off this Friday. If not, her time at Schlitterbahn will not be fun. For those of you who I have told about Duke, the first pic is of him and Sydney. We also got Sydney's haircut which you can see from the first to the third picture. She cried the whole time, but she looks cute. Hope this blog finds everyone doing well.
